Invest in the Joensuu Region

The objective of the project is to attract a significant number of new national and international investments to the Joensuu region over the next three years to support the economic and employment situation in the region (both greenfield and merger).

The project also aims at using the Joensuu region to develop and demonstrate the national, region-based operational model for attracting international investments to Finland.

The general objectives of the project include improving the level of preparedness of the Joensuu region and the entire province in the competition for foreign investments, establishing permanent operations there, and promoting internationalization and national and international networking of the region/province.
